Smeetham Hall Barn Celebrates 25 Years of Love, Legacy, and Beautiful Weddings.

Smeetham Hall Barn, an historic wedding venue on the border of Essex and Suffolk, is proud to announce its 25th anniversary of hosting timeless weddings and creating unforgettable memories. Established by Anthony and Bridget Hyde Parker, the venue has been the backdrop to countless weddings and special moments for a quarter of a century.

Today, the Essex wedding barn continues to flourish by the next generation of their son Tom and his wife Victoria, with the invaluable support of their trusted wedding coordinator Sophie, who ensures each wedding day runs smoothly and beautifully.

To celebrate this remarkable milestone, Smeetham Hall Barn is inviting its past couples to come back and relive their wedding memories with a special Then & Now photoshoot event. This exclusive opportunity allows couples to recreate their cherished wedding photos, perhaps with new additions in their families. Brides and grooms can even wear their original wedding outfits and wedding dresses, should they wish, to add to the nostalgia of this unique experience.

“It’s been an incredible journey watching Smeetham Hall Barn grow and continue to be the place where couples begin their lives together,” says Tom, current owner of Smeetham Hall Barn. “We would like to invite the couples who chose our venue to mark this special milestone with us and celebrate the passage of time and the memories we’ve all created together. We cannot wait to see how our couples have evolved and grown over the years and to help them recreate those magical moments from their special day.”

Each couple who joins the celebration will be given a free 30-minute photoshoot slot, with a selection of professional images provided as a heartfelt thank you for being part of Smeetham Hall Barn’s enduring legacy. The photoshoot gives couples the chance to bring their families, old and new, to capture the love that has continued to grow since their wedding day.

“We’re so excited to offer this chance to our past couples,” shares Victoria, co-owner of the venue. “It’s a wonderful way to see the couples who have been part of the Smeetham Hall Barn story and celebrate their milestones, from weddings to growing families. We hope this special Then & Now photoshoot will bring back memories and allow families to reflect on the journey they’ve been on together.”

The Then & Now photoshoot event is set to take place on a selected date during the summer. Couples are encouraged to book their spot in advance to ensure they don’t miss out on this unique and sentimental experience.
