Covid, Lockdown and Power Outage hits ... but the Team were so Supportive

From the moment we came to look around Smeetham Hall we fell in love with the venue!

From day one back in 2019!!! Bridget and Sophie were so welcoming and enthusiastic about our special day!

When Covid hit, we held on changing to 30 guests then to 15 with their help along the way, until we hit yet another lockdown two months before our original date. During that heart-breaking time, the team here were so supportive and willing to help in any way possible.

Fast forward to 18th February 2022, the day before our wedding ... Storm Eunice hit!!! Panic went straight though us not knowing what was going to happen; still, everyone kept us calm and helped us set up. Little did I know, the venue had a power outage lost on the day of our wedding, but the WHOLE wedding was run on their generator and my goodness we are sooooo pleased they had one!! I know so much effort went into the venue on the morning of the wedding, including cutting damaged trees!!

We had the most fantastic day! It really was the vision we hoped for! And we truly cannot thank you all enough for your support, guidance and hard work!
