Smeetham Hall is totally different to most wedding reception venues. You have the freedom to choose how your day runs. Your wedding day is how you would like it to be, not how we would like you to have it! We just aim to give you the perfect wedding of your dreams.

As well as being able to hold your civil wedding and reception here at Smeetham, we are also very happy for you to hold just your civil ceremony from Monday to Thursday. The Barn would be available to you for a 2-hour period - ample time to enjoy our wonderful grounds for photographs along with a glass of champagne or two.

Our silk-lined 800 sq ft Marquee holds up to 150 guests and is an ideal reception area for drinks and canapés.

The Marquee stands within a sheltered courtyard and is perfect for barbeques and hog roasts for the more informal event.

We have a variety of recommended local wedding caterers who can provide anything from a simple wedding buffet to a full 6-course meal.

Drinks from our bar are charged at local pub prices (with no charge for staff) and you can supply your own wine – we do not make a corkage charge.
