1. We are licensed for civil ceremonies;
  2. Our local Chuch, St. Andrew's Bulmer, is very happy to welcome couples who would like a religious ceremony;
  3. The Barn, for a Saturday wedding, is yours exclusively from 9am on the Friday until midday on the Sunday;
  4. There is no corkage charge so do feel free to bring in your own drink (including water/soft drinks) at no extra cost;
  5. Very flexible catering options. We ask you to choose from a list of twelve caterers. Enjoy a tasting with them!
  6. We have a full bar for the evening if you so wish. There is no charge for the staff and it is local pub prices;
  7. We are very lucky to have such a variety of fantastic accommodation close by - from hotels and pubs to cottages for rent;
  8. Help and guidance from Bridget, the owner, on the run up to your day. She never minds how many questions you ask or how often you visit!

Dear Bridget and Anthony, Thank you for all your help and your very special venue for our wedding. We have memories for a lifetime. You really put us at ease each time we visited, Bridget, and all the little things were greatly appreciated. Hopefully, many more people can enjoy Smeetham for years to come. Lots of love
