Directions
From Sudbury
Take the A131 road south from Sudbury and before the long, steep Ballingdon Hill turn right in front of the King’s Head pub, towards Bulmer. Follow this road for 1.5 miles and turn right up Finch Hill. At the top of the hill turn left into Smeetham Hall Lane. The drive to Smeetham Hall barn is signposted to the right after 200 yards.
From Halstead
Take the A131 north towards Sudbury until you reach Bulmer Tye. In Bulmer Tye turn left at the Fox pub towards Bulmer. At the 2nd cross-roads in Bulmer go straight on. The drive to Smeetham Hall barn is signposted to the left after 100 yards.
From Long Melford
Take the B1064 to Rodbridge Corner. Here turn right towards Borley/Borley Green. Take the next left after crossing the bridge and continue to Borley. About 50 yards past Borley turn left. After half a mile the road turns sharp right. 50 yards further on turn left up the hill. After three-quarters of a mile turn right into Smeetham Hall Lane. The drive to Smeetham Hall Barn is signposted to the right after 200 yards.
